Dr. Felix received his BA from Binghamton University in New York and his MD from Howard University College of Medicine. He completed his adult psychiatry training at Harvard Medical School/ Cambridge Health Alliance where he served as Chief Resident in acute psychiatric services during his fourth year of training.
He is an active member of several professional organizations and held various positions of leadership in these organizations at local and national levels. Notably, he has held leadership positions in the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society, served as the 55th National President for the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) while in medical school, and has served on the Board of Trustees for the National Medical Association (NMA).
Dr. Felix’s leadership style is dynamic, innovative, and mission-centered. His non-clinical skill set includes program development, strategic planning, teaching, and public speaking.
